Two step Sterilization System
Terminal Cleaning
The term terminal cleaning is primarily used in high-risk medical facilities such as hospitals and operating theaters to describe the specific process of thoroughly and systematically cleaning a space after a patient has been discharged or completed a procedure. It is meticulous and 3 dimensional in scope. The aim is to eliminate all residual biomaterial and prepare the environment for the next patient while preventing the spread of infection or disease.
This is accomplished by utilizing special germicidal disposable agents on non-porous surfaces.
UV-C LIGHT STERILIZATION
UV-C light sterilization is a short-wave (254 nanometers) ultraviolet light that is used in the destruction of DNA, RNA, bacteria, viruses, and molds rendering them incapable of reproduction. Frequently used in tandem with terminal cleaning for the purposes of infection control protocol. This method is completed after all other methods of cleaning have been deployed. It is used unoccupied spaces and has been shown to effectively reduce pathogens up to 99.9% in the air and on surfaces, including the top of exposed soft surfaces rendering the space as sterile as possible at the time of completion.
This is a new service that we are offering to post procedural patients that need to travel for their treatment and stay in a hotel during recovery or while they receive ongoing care, or need help preparing for a return home. Please provide no less than 48hour advance notice for required services. Currently we are only able to provide service in Forsyth county
